This is a compilation of trails hiked
with information and photos about each trail.
This idea cam from several people's
websites over the years and if I could remember them all I would
list them. It is a good way to list the specifics of a trail.
If you are like me, I try to gather as much information as possible
about trails I plan on hiking. If so, then
I hope this section helps.
Description of Trail
Summary

Basic synopsis of the trail, junctions,
and scenic points of interest. |

Location |
The location of the trail
within the park or forest; may also have directions to the
trailhead. |
| Length |
Approximate
length of the trail
in miles. |
| Difficulty |
Description of the difficulty
of this trail for an average hiker: Easy, moderate, difficult.
Easy rating could constitute level, well-defined trail with
little or no obstacles. Difficult could constitute steep
grade, obstacles, rough trail, and possible hazards. This rating
is subjective based on the author's own skills and should not be
used as an absolute. |
| Navigation |
The difficulty
in navigating the trail. Easy could constitute just a
park/trail map where as difficult could require solid map &
compass skills (including GPS backup). |
| Travel
Time |
Approximate time to hike the
trail; may denote whether the trail was hiked uphill or down
hill. |
| Map |
The name, number or quad for
the topographic map used. May also include specific
manufacturer (i.e. Trails Illustrated). |
| Field
Notes |
Details about
the trail including junctions, obstacles, overlooks, points of
interests, warnings, etc. |
| Dates
Hiked |
The date(s)
the trail was hiked. |
| Rating
(5 is best) |
 The rating system is completely subjective and is based on my
comparative experiences. The variables that affect this
rating include scenic beauty, trail challenges, and unique points
of interests. 5 stars constitutes and outstanding trail. |
