This trip originally was planned
as 3 day on the Havasupai Indian Reservation and
then another 3 days hiking off the South Rim at the
Grand Canyon National Park. I unfortunately
developed a cold while down at the falls and the
trip was considerably shortened.
On my way there I spent my first
night at the Hualapai Lodge on the Hualapai
Reservation. I got there pretty early so I
headed over to the Grand Canyon Caverns - I heard
about it and it was a nice 45 minute tour of a
cavern about 200 feet below the surface. The
caverns are just 12 miles east of Peach Springs.
They also have a great little restaurant there and
good stick-to-your ribs chow. Check out the complex
